Rufous Hummingbird is a species found in the western part of the U.S. Many of them migrate east and can often be found in eastern states. The state of Florida often gets several each winter. It is always a treat to see one! I was told by a friend of this current bird, and was able to photograph it, which was nice. I was able to get a recording of its call as well.
